Our Chapter Committees are administrative bodies that help us handle the important business of the entire Chapter. This includes work like managing and creating content for social media, administering our website and other chapter tech, helping us grow and develop our membership, among other duties. Below is a list of our current Committees and what their responsibilities will be:
Growth & Development will help us recruit new members, engage existing members, develop new organizers, perform public outreach, organize new branches, and improve connections.
Communications will be responsible for managing our public messaging, social media, short-form content, creating graphics and flyers, and other media content.
Tech will manage our Chapter's tech assets and other tech tools.
QUILT (Queers United in Liberating Tennessee) is a member-run cadre which organizes working-class, poor, and unorganized queer and trans people in Tennessee to build community power and fight systemic repression.
Political Education for our theory-heads. This committee will be responsible for developing internal trainings and materials, organizing reading groups, and other political education.
Electoral our Chapter-level body which will develop and maintain our electoral infrastructure, coordinate electoral organizing, and manage relationships with chapter electeds.
Red Rabbits is our Chapter's event security and protest marshalling team. They help keep our events safe.
